UPDATE: Power has been restored to all three schools as of 11:03 a.m.

Virginia Beach, Va. – A power outage in Virginia Beach is currently affecting seven customers, including three schools. That’s according to Bonita Harris of Dominion Virginia Power.

The schools affected are Landstown Elementary, Landstown Middle, and Landstown High School.

The cause appears to be a failed underground cable.

Crews are on site, testing cables now.

Power is expected to be restored by noon.
