UPDATE: At 1:15 P.M. Officers and detectives located 89 year-old Abraham Smith safe and unharmed on Warfield Drive, in the Cavalier Manor section of Portsmouth.

Portsmouth, Virginia – According to police, Abraham Smith of Vaughn Court in Portsmouth, was last seen by his family asleep around 10:30pm Friday.

At 6:30am Saturday, his family discovered he was missing from the home.

Smith is 89 years old, suffers from Alzheimer’s and needs constant supervision.

He is described as a medium complected African-American, 5’1″ tall, 135 ponds, brown eyes and black hair.

Smith was last seen wearing brown stripped pajamas and no shoes.
