Latest version of Pentagon’s cheetah robot runs without a leash

The latest version of the Pentagon’s super-fast robot now runs without a leash or power cord.

While Cheetah could run faster that Usain Bolt at 28mph, the new WildCat by DARPA and Boston Dynamics can only manage 16mph due to the added power supply weight, according to Engadget.

That’s still faster than most humans, and a robot doesn’t get tired.
