Isle of Wight, Va. – A 66-year-old Isle of Wight man who was arrested and charged with various sex crimes in September, has been charged again for a second victim, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
On September 17, investigators with the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office arrested 66-year-old Cecil John Dunlap. He was charged with forcible sodomy against a 5-year-old girl, officials say.
Investigators also found child pornography on Dunlap’s computer.
Dunlap was charged with five additional counts of child pornography. Those warrants were served on September 19, 2013 at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail in Suffolk.
The victim and the suspect knew each other. Officials say the crime took place in Dunlap’s home.
As a result of the first investigation and arrest, a second child came forward with additional disclosures and a direct indictment was sought against Dunlop on January 13th.
He was charged with forcible sodomy and served the arrest warrant on February 12th at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
The victim and suspect were known to each other in this case as well.
