A group of fishermen didn’t have to reel in a blue marlin off the Dominican coast — the fish jumped right into their boat!

One of the fishermen shot footage of the catch.

The crew had hooked the 350 pound fish and was struggling to reel it in when the fish jumped on deck, barely missing a fisherman with it’s spear-like snout.

The Florida-based fishermen say they had been planing to release the fish back into the water but couldn’t since it died of “self-sustained” injuries.

Instead, they gave it to local fishermen.
