Norfolk, Va. - Tonight the Norfolk Tides were back at home to host Charlotte for the beginning of a ten day, eleven game homestand. However, the Tides could not snag a win. Charlotte would get on the board first with a couple runs in both the fourth and fifth to go up four nothing. The Tides would get on the board in the fifth, though. Luis Exposito reached first off an error allowing Ronny Paulino to score. Charlotte would snag four more runs in the eighth, and even though Norfolk's Danny Valencia would single to bring home Chris Dickerson, the Tides would go on to lose eight to two.
