Four displaced after fire rips through Suffolk home

Suffolk, Va. – Four people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a home in Suffolk on Friday afternoon.

An EMS supervisor was driving by and saw the flames coming from the home on Godwin Blvd. He called dispatch and units were on the scene minutes later.

No one was in the home at the time.

Officials say the fire was restricted to a bedroom and the house sustained smoke and heat damage.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire.
