Norfolk, Va. - A woman has now been charged after police say they found several items related to the manufacturing of meth at a home on Eiler Street last week in Lincoln Military Housing. They say the person charged is Maria Williams, a military spouse.

Officials say her husband was out of town and was not aware of what was going on inside the home.

When police were called out to the home on Eiler Street, they say they found a plastic bag that contained items related to the manufacturing of meth including meth pre-cursors and three pots that had meth residue inside.

HAZMAT units, the DEA and emergency personnel were then called out to the scene. The items in the bag were safely dismantled.

Williams has been charged with manufacturing meth and possessing two or more pre-cursors with the intent to manufacture meth.

Police say two weeks earlier, she was charged with conspiracy to distribute meth and possession.

Officials continue to investigate this case. We'll bring you more updates as we get them.
