Hundreds of Wounded Warriors hit Hampton Roads highways for Ride to Recovery

More than 200 Wounded Warriors took to the highways in Hampton Roads today.

It was all part of the ride to recovery rehabilitation program.

Many made the trek from Washington, D.C. and by the end of the ride they will have cycled more than 300 miles!

Drivers in Newport News may see the cyclists Friday morning around 11 a.m. as they head to Fort Eustis and in Norfolk they will be headed toward the Naval Station around 3 p.m. On Saturday they'll head to Virginia Beach.

You can participate in the honor ride Virginia Beach. Registration starts at 7 a.m. at the Cavalier Hotel.
