Taking action to fight hunger in Gloucester

Gloucester, Va. – The Salvation Army is seeking all Gloucester/Mathews County schools, churches, and community members to help fight hunger by participating in the Spring Food Drive.

Officials say the food pantry is low, and help is needed to restock the shelves.

What is needed?

Dry goods, such as cereal, rice, and pasta; canned meats; peanut butter and jelly; and other various canned goods.
