The driver of the car though got away, after stashing it in an alley behind Greenbrier Avenue.

Police blocked off both the avenue and the alley looking for witnesses who may have seen the man take off.

"But I just looked out the door, and he said go back in the house, I didn't know what was going on," said one neighbor.

“They were telling everybody to stay in, you know, because they had the suspect you know on the loose and they hadn't found him, “commented another neighbor.
