Sailors with the Norfolk- based USS Nicholas will be leaving on Sunday.
The guided missile frigate is deploying to help out in the mission against piracy in the Horn of Africa.
The Nicholas was attacked by Somali pirates in April of 2010.
Those suspected pirates are being held in Norfolk.
No word on how long the ship and the more than 200 sailors are expected to be gone.
