These kids don't have to imagine it, they live it.

Operation School Uniform: Taking action for local students

Together with our viewers, NewsChannel 3 is taking action to make sure they have what they need on the first day back to school next month.

To make this happen, we are partnering with `My Help, My Hope` Charities.  They will distribute the items to area shelters before school starts.

You can help by picking up socks, shoes, pants, Polos and jumpers of various sizes.

They also need a variety of school supplies.

If you don't have time to shop, click here to donate.

You can also come by and drop off your donation of clothing or school supplies here at NewsChannel 3's Downtown Norfolk studio.

Every little bit helps! We hope you'll join us.
