The first game would be Western Branch against Grassfield on a very windy day. Grassfield takes it 5 to 1 and moves on Tuesday to play Great Bridge.
Next up was King's Fork versus Lakeland. King's Fork would get out of the jam with no runs allowed and they would win this one six to nothing and will face Hickory on Tuesday.
Kempsville rolls six to nothing and the Chiefs sit atop the Beach district for now.
Kellam wins two to one and advance to the Eastern Region playoffs starting next week.
