Vicky has weakened into a remnant low.
As of 11 p.m. Thursday, the post-tropical cyclone is located about 1,050 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. It is moving toward the west-southwest near 12 mph, and this general motion is expected through Friday.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph with higher gusts.
Additional weakening is expected, and the remnant low is forecast to dissipate Friday night or early Saturday.
