    Richmond, Va. – The Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit has upheld the guilty conviction for former Governor Bob McDonnell. Back in May, McDonnell filed an appeal of his conviction on public corruption charges. Last year McDonnell was sentenced to two years in prison after a jury found him guilty of using his office to help businessman Jonnie Williams promote his dietary supplement business.     UPDATE: Man charged with early-morning murder captured in Newport News

    UPDATE: The U.S. Marshals have captured Raynard Brown, who was wanted by Portsmouth Police for the murder of Jamal Spratley on June 6th.  Officials say they found Brown hiding in a Newport News home in the 900 block of 17th Street. He was taken into custody without incident.  Police are now looking for a person of interest in this case.
