    Teenager injured in Sunday morning shooting

    Norfolk, Va.- Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured in a Sunday morning shooting. Police were called to the 900 block of Avenue H around 11:00 for a report of a teenager who had been shot. Once on scene they found a 16-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.     UPDATE: Woman found dead near minivan in Virginia Beach identified

    Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are investigating after a woman was found dead near a minivan in the 1800 block of Winter Park Court at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The victim has been identified as Lanethia S. Ruggles, approximately 44 years old. Ruggles’ body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. Multiple detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
