  • Police investigate possible mobile Meth Lab in Virginia Beach

    Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are investigating a possible mobile meth lab in the 3400 block of Holland Road. Hazmat and firefighters were called to the scene to help with the investigation. Dispatchers say police were conducting a traffic stop in that area around 6:30 Friday evening.  No injuries were reported. Stay tuned to NewsChannel 3 for any developments as they happen.

    Man killed when car hits tree in Hampton

    Hampton, Va. – One man was killed Saturday night when his car crashed on North Mallory Street in Hampton. Police say a 1998 Ford Mustang was traveling Northbound in the 1100 block when it hit a tree. The man died at the scene. The crash team is still investigating the cause of the accident and the identity of the victim is being withheld until next of kin is notified.

    UPDATE: Police have identified Kwaume Laray Edwards, 25, as a suspect in the death of a Hampton man.  He is currently wanted for one count of homicide and one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.  His last known address is on E.     Crews battle house fire near the Oceanfront

    Virginia Beach, Va. – Firefighters are battling a house fire in the 1400 block of Bartow Place in the Ocean Gardens section of the city. The call came in around 10:25am Sunday reporting that a gas can exploded and the flames spread to the front of the house.  Upon arriving crews saw visible smoke and flames coming from the front of the home.
