    Norfolk, Virginia – Norfolk police have identified the victim of a homicide that occurred in the area of Jason Avenue and Hancock Avenue. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Dajuan F. Glover of the 7400 block of Dakota Avenue. Police responded to a call of a gunshots heard around 4:40am and found Glover suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.     Update: All lanes clear after car flips on I-64 eastbound

    Update: All lanes are now cleared. Norfolk, Virginia – State police say a car flipped on I-64 eastbound at Chesapeake Boulevard Tuesday morning. The call came in at 4:49am and one lane is currently open causing a backup. State police have not released details on injuries.

    UPDATE: Man arrested after barricade situation at Chesapeake motel

    Chesapeake, Virginia –  A barricade situation at Studio and Suites 4 Less on Battlefield Boulevard near Wal-Mart ended peacefully around 5:30am Tuesday when the suspect surrendered to police. Police have arrested 38-year-old Alan Lawson of Newport News in reference to the barricaded/SWAT incident. Lawson is charged with resisting arrest; simple assault; threats made to a lawn enforcement officer; and damaged property.     Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth reopened following gas leak

    Portsmouth, Virginia – A gas leak at Lindab, Inc in the 2600 block of Airline Boulevard caused Victory Boulevard to be closed for several hours Saturday morning  between Airline Boulevard and Portsmouth Boulevard. According to fire officials, the leak began around 8:30am when workers were filling  a forklift from a 35 gallon propane tank.     Hampton, Va. – Former Tuskegee Airmen CMSgt. Grant Smith Williams Sr. passed away early Sunday morning, according to the Tidewater Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen. Williams lived in Hampton and was 94 years old.
