    Car crashes into Church’s Chicken in Norfolk, customer hurt

    Norfolk, Va. – A car ended up inside the Church’s Chicken Restaurant on East Princess Anne Road in Norfolk. Photos: Vehicles in Hampton Roads buildings Employees say an older man drove into the building. A customer inside the restaurant suffered minor injuries. There is no word what caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle. The restaurant stayed open.

    Man arrested in Newport News stabbing

    Newport News, Va. – A man has been arrested after police say he stabbed someone inside of a Newport News apartment on Friday night. This happened in the 2600 block of West Avenue. Calls came in about the stabbing at around 7:15 p.m. Once on the scene, police found a 44-year-old man who had been stabbed in the abdomen. A suspect was then arrested.     Buildings evacuated after gas leak in Chesapeake

    Chesapeake, Va. – Four businesses had to be evacuated after a gas leak in Chesapeake on Friday. This happened in the Indian River section of the city. Crews were called to the scene in the 3900 block at 6:08 p.m. Officials say a piece of equipment, possibly a forklift, struck the natural gas meter outside of one of the businesses.     Man wanted for robbing victim in parking lot of Hampton grocery store

    Hampton, Va. – Hampton Police need your help to identify a man who they say robbed someone in a Hampton parking lot. They say this happened back on July 18th when a 28-year-old man was in the parking lot of Farm Fresh in the 2100 block of Coliseum Drive. He was approached by a man he did not know. The suspect pulled out a gun and took the victim’s wallet which had money inside. He also stole his cell phone. […]

    Man accused of burglarizing two Beach businesses

    Virginia Beach, Va. – A 52-year-old man is behind bars after police say he burglarized two Beach businesses last month. Police say Robert O’Brien burglarized Gloria’s Bakery on August 30th and the Freedom Surf Shop on Waltham Circle. They say the surf shop was burglarized  between August 30th and 31st. O’Brien is now facing burglary, larceny and destruction of property charges. He is now in the Virginia Beach City Jail without bond.

    Man accused in deadly hit and run accident claims he thought he hit a deer

    Corolla, NC – A driver is now behind bars after officials say he hit and killed a man in Corolla and left the scene. The victim was a 21-year-old foreign exchange student from Bulgaria who was staying in the area. Police say he was walking north on Highway 12 when he was hit.     Accomack County – An inmate inside Accomack County Jail had to be treated after officials say he was attacked by other inmates. This happened on Monday, September 1st.
