    88-year-old Southampton man indicted on attempted rape allegations from over 50 years ago

    Southampton County, Va. – John Robert Carr was arrested and indicted on attempted rape and indecent liberty charges from over 50 years ago. Carr turned himself in two months after the Southampton County Sheriff’s office received a complaint back in March. The alleged victim in this case was 5-years-old at the time of the incident.     Woman reported missing in Elizabeth City returns home safely

    Chesapeake, Va. – A woman who was reported missing in Elizabeth City has been found safely in Chesapeake police say. Officials were searching for Tabatha Hemingway who was last seen in the 700 block of Richardson Street in Elizabeth City on June 4th. She was reported missing on June 6th.     Norfolk, Va. – On Thursday, Carnival Cruise lines announced they are cancelling cruises to nowhere aboard the Carnival Sunshine due to operational issues. Customers were scheduled to ship out on October 30th, 2016. They have staff members waiting to rebook clients who wish to take another cruise line instead.     Three men accused of breaking into Suffolk home arrested

    Suffolk, Va. – Three men have been arrested after police say they burglarized a Suffolk home on Tuesday. Just before 2 p.m., officers went out to the 100 block of Torrington Court in the Governor’s Pointe neighborhood in northern Suffolk. Police say a suspicious vehicle was seen leaving the area, and they initiated a traffic stop.     MCKINNEY, Texas — The 15-year-old Texas teenager who shot the McKinney pool party video that went viral and has resulted in a Texas officer being placed on leave is now speaking out.
