    Two accused of trafficking heroin in Kill Devil Hills

    Kill Devil Hills, N.C. – Two people have been arrested after police say they possessed a trafficking amount of heroin. On September 9th, 2014, officers arrested 41-year-old Erin Leigh Ricketts and 34-year-old Shonna Nicole Crain. Both have been charged with heroin by possession, trafficking in heroin by transportation, conspire to traffic heroin and both are now in the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $180,000 bond.

Deputies say Fredrick Deprise Johnson tossed counterfeit drugs out of a vehicle window during a traffic stop.     Eugene, OR (KPTV) — A man wanted for a 2010 armed bank robbery in New York was arrested in Eugene at an Ultimate Frisbee tournament. Eugene police said Jahson Marryshow, 31, was arrested at 5 p.m. Sunday in the area of 24th Avenue and Hilyard Street.     UPDATE: MMMBT northbound now open after crash

    UPDATE:  The tunnel has now reopened. There are still backups in this area. Expect continued delays.  Suffolk, Va. – Right now, the northbound side of the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel is closed due to a crash. Crews are on the scene now and they expect to open the tunnel in about 30 minutes. The back up is now over two miles. Drivers can expect major delays and should use an alternate route.

    Newport News, Va. – Newport News police are now investigating after they found a body inside the trunk of a burning car on Friday afternoon. Police have now identified the victim as 28-year-old Jermaine Custis of Portsmouth. His body was found in a car at Jefferson Avenue and 12th Street. An autopsy has been completed, but police say they are not releasing his cause of death because of the ongoing investigation.
