    Vehicle overturns near Beach Town Center

    Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are investigating after a vehicle overturned near the Virginia Beach Town Center during an accident on Wednesday. Dispatch says two vehicles were involved.  This happened in the 4700 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. at 4:30 p.m. There were minor injuries but police have not said how many or if they were taken to the hospital.     Newport News, Va. – Police in Newport News are now investigating after a man was shot on Wednesday. Holly McPhereson with the Newport News Police Department says they received calls about the incident at 2:45 p.m. The shooting happened in the 300 block of Deputy Lane.     Corolla, NC – A driver is now behind bars after officials say he hit and killed a man in Corolla and left the scene. The victim was a 21-year-old foreign exchange student from Bulgaria who was staying in the area. Police say he was walking north on Highway 12 when he was hit.
