    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The citizens of Houston devastated by flooding will now have a few extra hands to help. Operation Blessing deployed its U.S. Disaster Relief Team to the area to help residents in their clean-up efforts. The flooding was caused after 17 inches of rain poured into the area.     NORFOLK, Va. – The NAACP held a forum on violence Saturday after several homicides have occurred in the city. The forum was held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. The organization showed a short documentary on gun violence. The mother of Jordan Davis, whose son was gunned down in Florida in 2012, spoke to participants there.  

  • Teen shot in back in Newport News
