    Chesapeake, Va. – While officers were trying to serve a man, they say he barricaded his front door and threatened to kill anyone who entered. He also threatened to burn down the building.     Bank employee accused of embezzling money from Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union

    Suffolk, Va. – A 38-year-old woman has been accused of embezzling money from the Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union. Officials say Johara Tonna Parrish of Chesapeake was arrested on a warrant handed down by direct indictment. These charges are related to a reported embezzlement at the credit union. She was an employee there and officials say she transferred funds to her own account.
