    Car traveling in wrong direction causes crash on I-64 westbound

    Update: The scene is now clear.  Norfolk, Va. – Crews rushed out the scene of a multi vehicle accident on Friday night after they say a car was going eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-64. This happened near Bay Avenue and Willoughby. All westbound lanes are closed. There is a 3-mile backup right now. State police say there are no injuries reported right now.     Suffolk, Va. – A Suffolk Police officer has been arrested and placed on unpaid administrative leave after being accused of strangling and abducting his alleged mistress. Police have charged 34-year-old Nicholas Mark Thompson with several felony and misdemeanor charges including abduction and strangulation.
