    Sailor experiencing chest pains medevaced from USS Barry

    Portsmouth, Va. – A sailor on the USS Barry had to medevaced on Wednesday after officials say he reported experiencing chest pains while off the Virginia  Coast 40 miles east of Virginia Beach. Crews were notified about the incident  at around 3 a.m. They dispatched a MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth City. The sailor was taken to Portsmouth Naval Hospital where he was listed as stable. No other details have been released.

    UPDATE: Police have now made several arrests in connection to a vandalism that occurred at a Suffolk golf course and the Suffolk Youth Athletic Association.  Police have now arrested Toby D.     Cat, dog saved from Norfolk house fire

    Norfolk, Va. – Two pets were rescued after fire crews knocked down a fire inside of a Norfolk home on Tuesday. Dispatch says they received calls around 7:05 p.m. about the incident and crews arrived at 7:20 p.m. The fire occurred on 1500 Shipp Avenue. Two adults and three kids lived in the home.     Woman sentenced to 15 years for producing porn with 4-year-old child

    Norfolk, Va. – A Norfolk woman will spend the next 15 years behind bars after prosecutor say she produced child porn with a 4-year-old. Shaniesta Kenay Banks, 22, was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release. She pleaded guilty back in December of 2013.
