    Chesapeake, Virginia –  A barricade situation at Studio and Suites 4 Less on Battlefield Boulevard near Wal-Mart ended peacefully around 5:30am Tuesday when the suspect surrendered to police. Police have arrested 38-year-old Alan Lawson of Newport News in reference to the barricaded/SWAT incident.     Portsmouth, Va. – Police are investigating a late night shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Chowan Drive. Police received a 911 call on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at approximately 10:14 p.m. requesting medical assistance for a male who appeared to be shot. Upon arriving, officers found a man suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound to his hand and calf.     Norfolk, Va. – One man was killed and another seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash that pinned a man between two cars on Wesleyan Drive near the Virginia Beach/Norfolk city line.
