    UPDATE: Man accused of murder in Portsmouth captured in North Carolina

    Portsmouth, Va. – A 32-year-old man is dead after police say he was fatally shot on Queen Street in Portsmouth over the weekend. Calls came in to emergency officials at 9:44 a.m. about the incident. When they arrived on the scene, they found Melvin Brown  who had been shot several times in the upper body.     Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to a fire this afternoon at Holland Road/Route 58 and the 1200 block of Longstreet Lane in the rural Holland borough.
