On Sunday, at the site of The Masters, the 14-year-old  Kill Devil Hills native was efficient enough in both categories to win a national title in the girls 14-15 age group.

Schuster, a 2017 North Carolina 1A/2A state champion, sunk this 3-foot putt to win it all:

Schuster qualified and competed in the Drive, Chip, and Putt national championship in 2015 and finished in third place, but was playing injured. Katherine has overcome Multiple Hereditary Exstosis, which resulted in two surgeries to remove bone spurs from her legs.
