Granby High School.

The memo references “New Safety Related Policies for the 2017-2018 school year.” It also says the new policies will go in place beginning October 10.

Norfolk Public Schools said they did not release this memo to students and did not authorize any person to distribute it. The principal of Granby High School discovered that the fake memo originated in one of the school’s history classes.

This letter came from a history class. Students are learning about how the Enlightment period influenced American politics and influenced Americans to protest against unfair practices. It was written by a teacher and used as an example of how to affect change in one’s community. Unfortunately, one of the students took a picture of the teacher’s sample and posted it on social media.”

The logo used on the letter is their official logo and they remind the public that any use of the NPS logo without authorization violates their policy.

NPS said if you get the memo to disregard it.
