Tropical Storm Maria continues to move out to sea as high pressure builds in from the west. Skies will be clear overnight with temperatures dropping into the lower 60s. Some areas may cool to the upper 50s.

If you’re ready for fall-like weather, we’ve got some for you to end the work week. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s, under clear to partly cloudy skies. A weak cold front will cross the region, but we’re not expecting any rain from it. Just a drop in temperatures. Very similar conditions into the weekend. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Going to be great for the Neptune Festival! Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50s.

Looks like we’ll have low rain chances into next week. Looking like a great stretch of weather for fall activities!

Tomorrow: Sunny and cooler. Highs in the low to mid 70s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.

A large area of cloudiness and showers extending from the northwestern Caribbean Sea northward across Cuba to the Florida Straits is associated with a broad surface trough interacting with an upper-level low. A weak area of low pressure is likely to form from this weather system near the Florida Straits on Friday, and it is forecast to move northward near the east coast of the Florida Peninsula through Saturday. Environmental conditions appear to be conducive for some development during the next couple of days, before upper-level winds become less favorable on Sunday. Regardless of development, this system is likely to produce locally heavy rainfall over portions of central and western Cuba, the Florida Keys, the Florida peninsula, and the northwestern Bahamas during the next several days.

Formation chance through 48 hours: MEDIUM…40 percent.

Formation chance through 5 days: MEDIUM…50 percent.
