Dominion Energy Virginia arrives to Florida to help Irma victims

DAYTONA, Florida - Dominion Energy Virginia has safely made it to Daytona, Florida  to help with restoration efforts in Florida in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

More than 700 workers left Hampton Roads early Tuesday morning.

The team has already started working on power lines.

Crews will be working with Duke Florida, Tampa Electric and Florida Power and Light as long as they are needed.
