VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Go back in time with the Military Aviation Museum's 'Warbirds Over the Beach'.

May 20 and 21, enjoy the 1940s-era planes, history, and military aviation tactics.

The weekend-long event features live music, re-enactors, and, of course, the warbirds.

During last year's event, we got a ride in one of the aircraft! Here's a view from the sky.

Attendees this year will be able to see a newly restored P-63 Kingcobra taking part in aerial displays. Also gracing the skies are some of the Military Aviation Museum's collection of WWII aircraft like the P-51 Mustang and the Corsair, the British Spitfire and Hurricane, and German Messerschmidtt Bf-109.

Performances start at 10 a.m., with the airshow taking off at 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for ages 6-18. You can buy tickets here.
