3 arrested in connection to Virginia Beach bank robbery

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Three men have been arrested in connection to a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday morning in the 4848 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard.

Calls reporting the robbery at the PNC Bank branch came in at 10:57 a.m., according to police.

Police say two masked men came into the bank and robbed it, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers on scene were able to get descriptions of the suspects and located people matching those descriptions nearby.

Three men were ultimately arrested and charged.

Eduardo Marrero III, 28, of Virginia Beach, was charged with three counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, eluding police and driving on a suspended or revoked operators license.

Sequaan Cofield, 30, of Shellville, Georgia, was charged with three counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony and wearing a mask in public.

Dennis White, 46, of Middle Island, New York, was charged with three counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony and wearing a mask in a public place.

The robbery remains under investigation.
