Tracking a slow warming trend….It’s been a wild temperature roller coaster ride over the past few days. And as we look ahead toward the holiday, stay buckled up!

As we move through our Monday night, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies as a cold front continues to push farther to our south. A few showers are possible, along with a little sleet. Low temperatures will be in the low and mid 30s. Expect windy conditions, with winds from the north between 10 and 20 mph, with higher gusts.

On Tuesday, we’ll continue to see a good deal of clouds out there, but we’ll also see some sun here and there. A early stray shower is possible south, but overall, most areas will be dry.  High temperatures will be in the mid 40s.

By Wednesday, high pressure builds over the area and we’ll see a lot of sunshine. Highs will creep back into the low 50s. On Thursday, we’ll see highs in the upper 50s. Another front will move through the area on Thursday, which could spread a couple of isolated showers our way. By Friday, we’ll see highs in the lower 50s.

Right now, as we look ahead toward Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, our weather will be a bit unsettled, with high temperatures in the 50s.
