CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Authorities from around Hampton Roads will conduct an active shooter exercise on Thursday morning.

Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads-Northwest Annex will be conducting the exercise at the installation beginning at 9 a.m.

Participants include NSA Hampton Roads and Naval Station Norfolk Security Forces, the Chesapeake Police Department, and Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire and Rescue.

The exercise will focus on quick reaction and scenario-driven evolution.
