The First Warning Storm Team is tracking some soggy weather overnight.
A low pressure system will cross south of us late tonight and into Monday. We’ll see some rain spreading across the region through the overnight hours and into tomorrow morning. Lows tonight in the lower 40s. Some areas of fog possible. Rain will clear out Monday morning with some partial clearing in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 50s, some areas may see 60.
Another area of low pressure will cross the region on Tuesday. This will result in rain at times during the day, so you’ll want to keep that umbrella handy! Rain may become heavy at times. Winds will pick up as well. We’ll see most of the rain ending from the southwest to the northeast late Tuesday. A slight chance for a lingering shower into Wednesday morning. Highs Tuesday in the mid to upper 50s. Clouds will decrease on Wednesday giving way to sunshine in the afternoon. This will help temperatures warm to near 60.
A strong cold front will cross the area Thursday. There isn’t a lot of moisture will this system at this point, so keeping a 30 percent chance for a light shower. Much colder air pushes in behind the front for Thursday night and Friday. Expect lows in the lower 30s. Highs on Friday in the low to mid 40s under partly cloudy skies. Lows Friday night will drop to the 20s! Another cold day for Saturday with dry conditions.
Monday: Rain…mainly in the morning (50%). Some partial clearing heading into the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 50s, some areas could reach 60. Winds: N 5-10 mph.
Monday night: Increasing clouds. A chance of rain late (30%). Lows in the mid 40s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
