CHESAPEAKE, VA. – Oscar Smith got a late touchdown connection from Shon Mitchell to Khalik Perry to seal the deal and defeat Colonial Forge 27-20.

The Tigers (13-1) will get a rematch with Westfield High. Oscar Smith lost to the Bulldogs last season in the state finals 49-42.

The Tigers are the only remaining team from Hampton Roads left in the playoffs.

Phoebus, Lafayette, and Norview all fell in their respective contests. The Pilots battled the defending state champions Highland Springs to a 28-25 loss.

Phoebus hosted Blacksburg and couldn’t overcome an early 17-0 deficit, and lost 26-12.

Lafayette had to travel to Dinwiddie, and came up short in a 28-14 decision that favored the Generals. It was Lafayette head coach Andy Linn’s final game as he transitions to his new role as the school’s athletic director.
