Do you have Hurricane Matthew damage? Register with FEMA before January 3rd deadline

Four thousand people in Hampton Roads have already registered with FEMA, reporting damage to their homes, cars and businesses after Hurricane Matthew.

Did you have any damage to your property? If so, no matter how big or small you should be registering. They are urging everyone to register for assistance because some damages or needs may not show up until later in the repair process.

Even if you have homeowners or flood insurance, registering for FEMA can get you federal disaster aid that covers things insurance can not.

As of right now, people in Hampton Roads have received $6.3 million dollars in assistance.
