PORTSMOUTH, VA. – A local behavioral health agency is helping feed the homeless and elderly this holiday season.

LEVOC Family Services is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless, elderly and needy residents of Portsmouth from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The dinner will be served twice at New Mount Olive Baptist Church.

The elderly will be fed from noon until 1:30 p.m., followed by the homeless and others in need from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

This is the agency's second annual thanksgiving dinner.

Last year, LEVOC provided food for more than 200 people and they hope to double those efforts this year.
