Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

A sunny but cold start… We will see plenty of sunshine today with highs returning to the low 50s this afternoon, almost 10 degrees below normal. It will feel colder with strong west winds. Winds will gust to near 25 mph at times. There is an increased fire danger through this afternoon due to the combination of dry ground, dry air, and strong winds.

Expect clear skies tonight with lows falling to near freezing again for Tuesday morning. Sunshine will continue on Tuesday with highs in the low to mid 50s. It will still be a bit breezy but not as strong or gusty as today. We will warm into the mid and upper 50s on Wednesday. Our best chance for showers this week will move in for Thursday morning with temperatures warming into the 60s.
