Grocery stores can be very crowded the few days leading up to Thanksgiving.
One way people can get their turkey day essentials without fighting the crowds is through Amazon Prime Now.
The service offers some delivers in just an hour or less!
Even if you do make it out to the grocery store and realize while cooking you forgot a key ingredient, the service will deliver it to you.
Prime Now can bring customers the essentials for cooking so they can skip the trip to the store and stay at home.
In addition to food, customers can also get hostess gifts or family fun items including board games.
In Virginia Beach specifically, Prime Now is available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week and it will continue to operate on Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Two-hour delivery is free and one-hour delivery is $7.99.
All Prime members can download the Prime Now app. When the app is downloaded a notification will alert them when the service is available in their zip code.
