A rainy start to the week, but the sunshine is coming back….Grab your umbrella. We’re tracking scattered showers across the area today as an area of low pressure rides along our coast. Some heavy pockets of rain are possible as well as an isolated thunderstorm. Overall, though, storm chances are low today. Otherwise, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Tonight, scattered showers are possible. However, rain chances will continue to diminish through the overnight. Low temperatures will be in the mid 40s.

On Tuesday, we’ll likely wake up to areas of patchy fog or low clouds as low pressure moves to our north. While an isolated shower is possible early, most of us won’t see rain. Instead, we’ll see clearing skies and sunshine into the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 60s.

More sunshine is in the forecast for Wednesday. However, a fast-moving cold front may bring a few sprinkles or light showers late in the day. Highs will climb into the mid 60s ahead of the front. Behind the front, our highs will sink into the lower 60s by Thursday. Then, our temperatures rebound into the mid 60s by Friday into Saturday.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers (60%). Highs in the upper 50s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers (40%), Breezy. Lows in the upper 40s. Winds: N 10-15 mph.

Tuesday: AM Patchy Fog/Low Clouds. Then, Clearing Skies. Highs in the low 60s. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly Sunny and Mild. High temperatures in the lower 60s. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.
