FEMA opens disaster recovery center in Dare County

DARE COUNTY, N.C. – FEMA and North Carolina Emergency Management opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Dare County Saturday.

The center will provide Hurricane Matthew survivors with information about state and federal disaster assistance, along with other recovery information.

The center will be open for three days and close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15. It will be closed Sunday.

The location will be in Manteo at the Arts and Crafts Activity Room of the Dare County Center, located at 950 Marshall C. Collins Drive. Regular hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
