Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Showers building in… A cold front is making the move across the Mid-Atlantic. We will see mostly cloudy skies today with scattered showers. Our first round of showers will move in around mid-morning with a second round this afternoon into early evening. Temperatures will start near 50 this morning and will reach into the low and mid 60s this afternoon, near normal. Clouds will clear out overnight with lows falling into the mid 40s. Northwest winds will crank up tonight and for Thursday, with gusts to 30 mph possible.
Sunshine will return for Thursday with another cool down behind the front. Highs will only reach the upper 50s tomorrow and the strong winds will make it feel even cooler. Highs will rebound into the 60s for Friday with more sunshine and lighter winds. Another cold front will move through on Friday. Rain chances will stay low but it will push in cooler air for the weekend. Expect highs in the low 50s on Saturday and upper 50s on Sunday.
