Much cooler weather settles in….Our summer-like days have come to an end for a while.

As we move through our Friday afternoon, expect a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon temperatures will climb into the low and mid 60s. It will be windy for most of the afternoon, with winds from the north between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts to 30. Our winds will begin to subside just a bit later tonight, with winds from the north between 10 and 15 mph. Low temperatures will dip into the mid 40s overnight under mainly clear skies.

This weekend, we’re expecting plenty of sunshine for the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s on Saturday. By Sunday, we’ll warm into the mid 60s.

A weak cold front will move in Sunday afternoon and evening to reinforce some cool weather across the region. So, on Monday, expect highs in the upper 50s to near 60. Temperatures will climb back into the mid 60s from Election Day through next Thursday.

This Afternoon: Sun and Clouds. Cool and Windy. Afternoon temperatures in the low and mid 60s. Winds: N 10-20 mph, gusts to 30 mph.

Tonight: Mainly Clear and Breezy. Lows in the mid 40s. Winds: N 10-15 mph.

Saturday: Mostly Sunny and Cool. Highs near 60. Winds: N/NW 5-10 mph.

Sunday: Mostly Sunny and Mild. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds: N 5-15 mph.
