INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - While some people might want to run away from ghosts, the Indy Ghost Hunters run to the action.

The Indy Ghost Hunters have tracked paranormal activity at several landmarks, WXIN reports.

The Hannah House, built in the 1800s, was known as a stop along the underground railroad. The owner of the home would take slaves and give them lanterns to stay warm. A lantern was knocked over one night and started a fire, killing everyone protected in the cellar.

"That's so sad but they are still there. Their spirits are still there," said Bob Newkirk with Indy Ghost Hunters.

Newkirk also recorded activity at Paul Ruster Park.

The hunters have also investigated private homes and say most of the time, they find nothing.
