HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A Henrico woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Amy Amanda Felicia Barnes Patterson, 41, of Sandston, was arrested Wednesday after Henrico Police and Fire were called to the intersection of E. Union Street and N. Wilson Way, near Sandston Elementary School, for a medical emergency.

“Patterson was located in a vehicle and was unresponsive,” a Henrico Police spokesperson said. “Patterson was suspected of being under the influence, and after further investigation, was arrested for driving under the influence. During the investigation it was learned that Patterson was transporting two juveniles in the vehicle when the incident occurred.”

In addition to the driving related charges, she was served with three other outstanding warrants, police said.

Police did not reveal the relationship between the children and the woman. Nor did police reveal the ages of the children in the car.
