NORFOLK, Va. – Gary Jordan, Madison Alternative School Assistant Principal, was found guilty of Incident Liberties and Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor.

A former search warrant stated that in January a student at Madison said Jordan pulled her from class and brought her back into his office. The conversation was allegedly about a disciplinary issue and that Jordan said he would be her counselor, but “that she should not tell anyone about it.”

The warrant stated that Jordan asked the student a series of inappropriate sexual questions and asked her if she could stand up and turn around so he could see her buttocks and if she could pull her pants down.

The assistant principal faces up to five years in prison for the Indecent Liberties charge and up to 12 months in jail and/or a $2500 fine for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, according to the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney office.

Jordan is set to be sentenced by a judge on January 27, 2017.
