NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – We love celebrating our furry friends and the hard working K9 officers that work with our local law enforcement agencies are no exception.
Bane, a K9 with the Newport News Police Department, celebrated his seventh birthday Monday.
Showing what a dedicated officer he is, Bane spent his special day keeping the streets of Newport News safe with his partner MPO B. Keller.
Word has it that Bane did squeeze in some celebratory time the day before his birthday though – by eating a steak!
