Medical Examiner working to solve two cases with facial reconstruction

NORFOLK, VA. - Officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying two deceased people, in unrelated cases.

The Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner worked with theNamUs program,the FBI, and local law enforcement to create reconstructive faces of the two individuals.

A female victim's body was found decomposed behind a vacant building at 1046 25th Street in Newport News on June 6th, 2014.

She is believed to be white with possible mixed ancestry, 25-40 years old, and 5'1" to 5'7".

Her cause of death is undetermined.

The second victim, a white man, was found in  a wooded area in the 1100th block of Virginia Beach Boulevard on March 28th, 2015.

Because his body was so badly decomposed, police are not sure how he died.

He is believed to be between 40-60 years old.
