Redskins tight end Jordan Reed being evaluated for concussion

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – Redskins tight end Jordan Reed did not practice Wednesday. According to head coach Jay Gruden, Reed is in┬áconcussion protocol.

Reed caught eight passes for 53 yards in Sunday’s win at Baltimore. Gruden says Reed experienced symptoms during workouts Tuesday.

The fourth year tight end has a history of head injuries. After suffering two concussions in college at Florida, Reed has missed NFL games due to head injuries in both 2013 and 2015.
