Hurricane Matthew has moved out, fall weather has moved in. In fact, many areas will wake up to temperatures in the 40s on Tuesday morning. But that’s the chilliest it will get over the next week.

A broad area of high pressure brought us plenty of sunshine on Monday. And those clear skies will lead to chilly morning temperatures on Tuesday. But by the afternoon we will warm into the mid-to-upper 60s. Some of us may even wake up to areas of dense fog. But there should be plenty of sunshine to start the day, with a few more clouds in the afternoon.

Those clouds will increase on Wednesday, with a 20% chance for a stray shower. Expect high temperatures on Wednesday in the lower 70s.

An approaching cold front will bring us a few more clouds on Thursday and knock our temperatures back down into the 60s on Friday.

The weekend is looking very mild with high temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s. Expect more clouds on Saturday with a 20% chance for a shower. Sunday is looking partly cloudy.
