Williamsburg, Va. - Grafton could've folded. Instead, they rallied. The Clippers (4-0) had to deal with the loss of their offensive coordinator Jason Robinson this past May. It was a sudden loss for the Grafton community but they responded the only way Robinson would want them to; win football games. It's the first time Grafton has started out a season 4-0 since their 10-3 2004 season. "It was a blow to us, I told the kids I haven't had a coach pass away on me as a part of my staff, I don't know that I know how to handle it we've all kind of coped with it, but we've dedicated this season to him," says Clippers head coach Matt McLeod.

It's been an emotional year for Lafayette as well. The Rams (4-0) will have to replace head coach Andy Lin at the end of the season. Last season they went 12-0 in the regular season. Even more impressive, they haven't lost a district game in three seasons. The Rams are looking at the bigger picture though, treating every game the same. "Our kids still approach it like its just the next game, it's not, they dont worry about who's ranked ahead of them," Lin says.
